Information

Product Description

Finally. Golden is a smooth, plant-based sugar alternative that captures the warm, rich taste and golden hue of traditional golden sugar but without the sugar, calories, or compromise. Thoughtfully crafted from Erythritol, Steviol Glycosides, and a touch of natural apple extract, it delivers a perfectly balanced sweetness that feels and tastes just like sugar, with none of the aftertaste often found in other alternatives.

With its light caramel notes and delicate texture, Finally. Golden blends effortlessly into both hot and cold recipes, making it a truly versatile choice for your everyday kitchen needs. Use it in baking, hot drinks, cereals, sauces, or smoothies to enjoy that familiar golden sweetness naturally.

Designed for modern wellness, it has a 0 Glycaemic Index, making it ideal for low-carb, keto, and diabetic-friendly lifestyles. Plus, at just 4 kcal per 100g, it’s one of the lightest and most natural sugar alternatives available.

Why Choose Finally. Golden?

  • 0 Glycaemic Index: suitable for low-carb, keto & diabetic-friendly diets
  • Sugar-free & 100% Plant-Based
  • Authentic golden sugar taste – smooth, balanced, and naturally sweet
  • Low Calorie: only 4 kcal per 100g
  • Excellent texture: melts, bakes, and blends beautifully
  • No aftertaste or artificial additives

Finally. Golden brings you the taste of sunshine-sweet sugar reimagined for modern, healthy living. The perfect everyday sweetener that lets you enjoy real flavour, naturally.

Sustainability at heart: All our packaging is 100% recyclable.

Key Ingredients

Sweetener: Erythritol, Steviol
glycosides (0.18%), apple extract

Serving and how to use

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar = [1] teaspoon of Finally. Golden
  • 100g of sugar = [100g] of Finally. Golden

The lighter, everyday choice: ideal for tea and coffee, porridge, cereal and light bakes like sponges and biscuits. For a richer, deeper flavour, choose Finally. Soft Brown or Dark Brown.

Usage, Baking Tips and Storage

Flavour and Colour: Finally. Golden provides a gentle honeyed caramel note and light amber tone, making it the perfect 1:1 replacement for golden caster or light brown sugar in sponge cakes, biscuits, shortbread, and tea.

Baking and Browning: Adds a delicate warmth and moisture to bakes without altering the batter consistency. Because erythritol does not caramelise under oven heat in the same way as traditional sugar, monitor recommended baking times and internal structure rather than relying on visual darkening.

Solubility: Dissolves smoothly in warm drinks, sauces, and cake batters. For delicate frostings or iced drinks, blend the granules briefly into a fine powder to ensure a silky, non-grainy finish.

Digestive Tolerance and Storage: Contains polyols from erythritol. While generally gentle on digestion, excessive consumption may cause a mild laxative effect in sensitive individuals. Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container to protect against humidity and clumping, and keep out of reach of domestic pets.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I substitute Finally. Golden for traditional golden caster or cane sugar?

You can use Finally. Golden as a direct 1:1 replacement for regular golden caster or raw cane sugar. If your recipe requires 1 tablespoon of golden sugar, simply use 1 tablespoon of Finally. Golden to get the same sweetness and golden look with zero sugar.

How does Finally. Golden get its characteristic golden colour and soft flavour?

We combine a granulated erythritol base with natural apple extract and natural flavouring. The apple extract provides the authentic golden colour, while the natural flavouring replicates the light, subtle butterscotch notes of traditional golden sugar without relying on real sugar or artificial dyes.

How does Finally. Golden perform in baking and hot beverages?

It dissolves easily in hot tea, coffee, and batters, making it ideal for everyday baking such as sponge cakes, biscuits, and traybakes. Please note that while it provides bulk and a light golden hue to your bakes, erythritol-based sweeteners do not melt or caramelise like traditional sugar.
A large white and yellow stand-up pouch of Finally brand "GOLDEN Sugar Alternative". The 1kg pack features a white upper section with the brand name and "Sugar Alternative" text, a broad yellow band across the middle reading "GOLDEN", and product claims below including "0 GI.
